Bible Study >
There are several different and exciting
Bible Studies taking place in the SSU area.

New Bible Study On The Internet:
As of mid-January 2008, Campus Ministry is pleased to announce the initiation of its on-line Bible
discussion board.  Members of the SSU community are invited to come ask and discuss relevant
questions about the Bible and Christian living.  To check it out please

CM Tuesday Bible Study (with pizza!):
Campus Ministry Bible Study began in October (with free lunch!).  The Bible study is held at the CM house
with Rev. Evan Fisher and Rev. Russell Doyle leading the studies.  We will be meeting ever
y Tuesday at
noon.  Bible study will be on vacation from Thanksgiving until the New Year, with the study resuming
January 2nd.

We will be studying Acts.  The Book of Acts is the history of the ancient church.  Many
translations title it "The Acts of the Apostles."  Al Winn says it is more "The Acts of the Holy Spirit."  Let's
look at Luke 24:44-53 & Acts 1.  If you're ever impatient, you're in good company.

Campus Crusade for Christ Bible Studies:
Campus Crusade of Christ hosts 2 weekly Bible studies.  Both are held on Thursdays at the CM house.
Girls' study is at 3:00 and guys meet at 6:30.

All Saint's Bible Study:
All Saints Episcopal Church is beginning a Bible study for SSU students.  Entitled, "A Beer and the Bible,"
meetings are held at the Ports City Pub (about 5 blocks from campus) every Wednesday at 9 pm.  Topics
include discussions about how the Bible originated:  where, why, when, and who wrote it?
